As one of the most respected financial services institutions our client is involved in wide range of activities including, Investment Banking, Banking, Private Banking, Treasury and Trust Services.  The Audit function is currently undertaking a Treasury Audit Project and thus requires an experienced Auditor to lead this.

The Audit function undertakes a variety of projects in the UK and overseas, providing a both consultancy and business review services across the full range of business activities. For this Treasury Audit assignment you will report directly to the Head of Audit and will have considerable autonomy on the project, which will include planning and control of the audit, writing of audit reports and liaison with senior management. You will be focusing strongly on liquidity and credit risk and will therefore need a good knowledge of Treasury risk and have an understanding of system based audit techniques.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 3-4 years post qualified experience. You will have a track record of producing treasury audits within the financial services industry, especially in a trading or wealth management environment, moreover you will need to have a good knowledge of treasury systems.
